I'll be watching for her new releases for years to come. She's such a solid, strong representative of what YA writing should be. If you haven't read Kiersten White yet, I really don't know why. Because Fia keeps her intentions hidden, it's fun to see just how much of what she's up to can be guessed, and how much she'll surprise you. A few scenes sprinkled in slow down enough for us to really get to know characters- then it's off to the races again. This action-packed plot with keep you turning pages. She keeps Annie at arm's length in the name of safety, and in so doing deprives herself of the one relationship she is absolutely sure she can trust. She struggles with her feelings regarding James, and questions herself about developing a friendship. Meanwhile, Fia has to guard her thoughts even more closely than before as she works her way closer to her target.
Her new compatriots waste no time putting her to work, and they set off, bouncing between hotel rooms, trying their best to take down the system from which Annie so recently escaped. Annie is stashed away with Adam, out of the reach of those who work for The Keane Foundation.
